Def Character 2007-09-06 04:33:06 No need for a switch ^^ it looks good b^^
Viviane 2007-09-06 06:00:33 It's a very nice idea to combine a drawn chara with a photographed background! The effect would look even better if you manage to integrate the chara into the background more properly. Give especially attention to the outlines. Normally, real world never has any outlines, there are only docked areas of different colours and brightness. You don't have to abandon the outlines of the chara, but perhaps he would be integrated better, if the outlines would be thinner and not so sketchy. I wouldn't have drawn any outlines in the smoke of the cigarette (it looks rather like branches of a scrub), but would only hint it with pale, lightgray wafts of smoke. More important than the outlines, is to choose colour for the chara which matches to the environment. So the man has to be more gray-blueish over all, but there where the mild setting sun shines, the tones of colours should be more orange-redly.

I had a goal when I was coloring this, and that was using a whole other style then I used to. I made up to 3 patterns and used them in several ways in this piece ^_^

Aikuza said that Orlando was unoriginal and that only girls would comment, so what about Amy Lee? Something for the boys and not so very often done I think. Anyway, I've made this one for my boyfriend, he was a big Evanessence (they have split up) fan, for our 6 months aniversary. Is it good enough?

well i made this one for a art game on gaia, the idea of the game is to draw someone els his char in your style and diffrent setting. (i believe the same game is also on the aniway forum) but anyways the orginal char was from cyber-luna and this is my version of it ^^
TheDarkHell
A silly little sketch using some of my fav chars, Harry Potter and Fullmetal Alchemist. Hand drawn and colored in opencanvas and photoshop. Yes I'm aware that the VGCats also did a gag on this. There's no need to comment on that fact. Thanks!
