This is a chibi(or attempt at) of me with my bowling ball. What do you think? (I'm actually looking at the computer screen, learning from my brother, how to use GIMP2.0 ^_~) *Edited* that mouth was bugging me, too dark...

okay , for one this picture prooves that some people (like myself) can get worse by drawing more...seriously , I'm a self-respecting artist , but the sh*t I keep drawing the past month is beyond words...I make too many mistakes , can't come up with original ideas or poses...I'm telling you , I'm in a downfall! but no worries , I'm going to take drawing more seriously an will be taking art class 8 hours a week! if that doesn't help , well...

Haha, haven't been here in AGES. Just figured I should post something SOMEWHAT recent-ish. If one can call a year ago recent, but yeah, spring time angel, enjoy.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009! ^_^

This image is dedicated to Gabriel DeVue. I took Garla Lambert and Selt Brander out of the context and drew them in japanese costumes, because I admire the pattern and shapes on these fabrics so much and I love to lose myself into drawing details. I really want to get better at drawing kimono patterns.^_^

FINAL FINISHED COLORS:
===see preliminary lineart

The full finished final colors for my custom bee themed pony ^_^.

Original prelim lineart photocopied and photocopy mounted on the hard board backing from my vellum pad ^^;. Colored with Dr. Martins dyes, black lytho crayon, and white gel pen, white ink and white acrylic paint, then trimmed to size.

Feels good to use my dyes again. I kind of forgotten how fun and attention grabbing they were. Don't get me wrong, I like digital coloring, but its too easy to get distracted and walk away from a piece. At least with traditional media, you CAN'T really walk away from the piece until a certain section is finished ^^;.
