FINAL FINISHED COLORS:
<a href====see preliminary lineart

The full finished final colors for my custom bee themed pony ^_^.

Original prelim lineart photocopied and photocopy mounted on the hard board backing from my vellum pad ^^;. Colored with Dr. Martins dyes, black lytho crayon, and white gel pen, white ink and white acrylic paint, then trimmed to size.

Feels good to use my dyes again. I kind of forgotten how fun and attention grabbing they were. Don't get me wrong, I like digital coloring, but its too easy to get distracted and walk away from a piece. At least with traditional media, you CAN'T really walk away from the piece until a certain section is finished ^^;.

Oh, and still hunting for a new name for her.. any suggestions?

Hmmm... Hunny or Sugar Bee... those two are actually pretty good names for her ^_^. And yep, maybe expect more pony art for me... My Little Pony are my happy crack X3.
AIKUZA 2005-02-13 22:26:32 I'm not surprised too see My little Pony fanart. I recently saw some other ones. It's cool, altough it's still a pony.... :P
Deetris 2005-02-19 13:08:00 Oww I see now I spelled honey wrong. How could that bee XD. Japanese words for Honey are: hani or hachimitsu. Mabe that's some help ;)

Showing the process of sketch to colour. Don't really like the drawing (specially don't like the face), I did the lineart in Illustrator but it all looks to clean. Although it's fast^_^
