AIKUZA 2004-09-13 19:06:38 It's a mechahead from the sideview. The greencolour area is its eye. and the yellow, its chin and jawline. And the red, top of the head. Did you designed the robot yourself? Cause it looks kinda familiar to me. Little FFVIII Ragnorak Airship head :). The colouring is good, but the outline is too thick and strong of contrast. It's because the colouring technique is soft and the background is white. 3 hours is quite long for such a small piece, but I guess I had that 2 in the beginning :p. I like the design but its neck is too thin. And the yellow lines among those points on its neck need an outline as well.
Marius 2004-09-13 19:48:57 Aikuza hits the spot once again ^^ I once stated that nothing one imagines is totally original. An idea or concept derives from various ways of interpretation of reality, images and way of thinking. The mind combines and merges these visual images, and creates an idea. The way we percieve this idea in our heads, adds to the outcome of that creation. Aikuza is right, it looks like the Ragnorak from FFVIII. It also looks like one of the mecha's from Vandread, only in different colors. And then, it also looks like Neon Genesis Evangelion's EVA Unit 02. Yes, it is my own design. Yes, I'm really slow in photoshop. (I get distracted too easy ^^; + some of the time comes from creating the paths for the lineart.) I agree about the neck, I didn't like it but was too lazy to do it better. :) Ow and Jake, I'm not offended ^^
AIKUZA 2004-09-14 13:53:00 Thx! You're totally right about that visual inspiration stuff by games and anime. I do that to, but I try to combine it with my own design as well. you did that too :). It's just that I'm a huge FinalFantasy fan, that I reconize almost everythinig from it ^^. And I know that lazyness too. If it comes up again, it is best to finish it later on, when you're active :)

A little joke I imaged for Halloween-only a month late right?
Draco Lunara
Happy Halloween

Ok, here's the finished version. I fixed the face proportion problem. I'd liked to have done more with the background, but I had to send it to this game company today. Anyway, what do you guys think?
This is Shiro, a demon from a manga I just recently started drawing (still untitled). This is my first time posting art on the internet, so comments are greatly appreciated. ^_^
Pg 9 of Chap 7 AOY. Woot!
When you were younger did you play with those Betty Spaghetti dolls? I was like, obsessed with them. xD Anyhow, I got this idea to make a Spaghetti doll out of my OC. It's Jamie Spaghetti--Wear her hair up and down, bend her limbs all around (I made the poem up. xD ). Spaghetti dolls (c) Spaghetti Doll people. But if you create a spaghetti doll modeled after your OC I probably will hate you and call you a copier and stuff, unless I like you beforehand and you ask me if yoo can use my ideas. [: kthanks.
Ohmy. My handwriting is quite atrocious. Oh well. This is Lorna, my new anthro character. YAY! xD
