TECHNICALLY, it was the Little Prince from Outer Space, and the Adventures of the Little Koala, back when Nickelodeon was brand spanking new.
But guess OFFICIALLY, it was the original Vampire Hunter D. The first growth into the beginning of my like for anime.

well first were the ones shown on tv , in order;
samurai X
pokemon
digimon
dragonball Z
gundam wing
beyblade
yu gi oh!
but the first ones I saw that weren't one tv ;
ghost in the shell
the animatrix
didn't really , really like them
then a friend of mine gave me some episodes of Fullmetal alchemist and then , the addition kicked in.
my favourite at the moment is bleach
and I'm downloading the FMA movie (conquerer of shambala)

Alfred J. Kwak I guess.
Or maybe Sailor Moon during a battle on some German channel. But never saw more then that so I guess that doesn't really count. Oh wait. That or Transformers.

If, by some incredible space-time paradox, Chuck Norris would ever fight himself, he'd win. Period.
