Greenteacat: Thanks for the teaches. ^_^ And I like your digital arts, willing to learn from you.

From what you all told me before, I did it here and hope this will be better than previous digital artwork.

I really like the way you used pink/purple in the shadows! Great stuff.

I am back....

Been so busy and I have some artworks that I drew bit by bit during the time I busy with my work.

Image
This artwork is unclean and not finish yet. But I feel lazy to continue draw it :P

Image
I like this artwork. But someone said I photoshoped this from real photo of someone, that's not true. I drew her with my own imagination, she's no one.

Any critique for my artworks? Which I should improve. :)

Of the two, I think the first one is better. The reason why is because of the wide range of value that you used in your shading. The second picture mostly sits within the middle -- using mostly just variations of grey -- which isn't as visually appealing/eye-catching.

Keep up the good work. ^_^

I love your art! I used to draw a ton a few years ago and now I'm kinda rusty. Was wondering if you could draw me up a character I have in mind for a novel I'm writing? It would help if I had something to look at as I write! Hit me up on PM if you're interested!

In my opinion simply too large chest. I mean, those are fake. Otherwise, in addition to weapons, I just said, over her shoulder and the angle does not match with her chest and below. It closed a bit like gravity wise.

As usual, the eyes and lips you draw are just wonderful.
I would like to see some more darker tones, though. You'll be able to put so much more detail if you expand your range of values.
Can't wait to see what you post next!

As for your digital work, what tablet were you thinking of getting?

Thanks for your commend, Zephio!
Well, actually the tones look darker in actual art, but I don't know why my camera capture resulted the images with the lighter tones.
Trying to draw something more detail on the next artwork :)

I am trying to get a WACOM 4" x 6" tablets. It was recommended by my friend, but it seems expensive to me.

While waiting for tablets, started getting up the pencil and draw again~ RAWR.

Wacom tablets are worth the money... in my opinion. Do not hesitate... but it is your decision in the end ...

I agree with xristie9 on this one; Wacom tablets are definitely worth the cost since they will last you quite a while. I'm not sure if it's available where you're at, but the Bamboo Pen tablet seems to be the least expensive of the tablets available. However, I recommend checking out your local electronics store or looking at discount sites online to see if you can't get a better deal.

Thanks for all the opinion given. I might get a second handed wacom tablet with bamboo pen from my friend, she promised to sell me cheap and she don't really use it, it's still new and well covered.

Anyway, here is my next digital artwork that using mouse to draw.

Image

This took me about 1 hour to draw it and the outline is really difficult to draw.
I drew this because I am trying to see how much I can improve to redraw one of my previous digital artwork.

Wow this is nicely done. I like that you used other colors to shade the face with instead of just choosing a color that contained more black. It's looking great (especially done with just a mouse)
