i think mild nudity is just showing a naked body in a nonsexual way. just a nude figure. the difference between r and x rated films and xxx in america at least is in r and x rated all you see is nudity - no penetration, and penetration that is seen isnt mild. thats my two cents at least

mild nudity, should at least have panties.
because mild nudity implies a certain artistic taste to it, something that shows skin but not in a hentai way. (okama way XD )
like boobies.

full blown nudity shows everything. everything.

my line is sex or sexual arusement. so for me nakkid girl or guy is fine. nakkid girl with legs open ready for sex is not fine.....for MWS, but send those pics to my email >>....<<.... and a nakkid guy cracking a boner is also a no, no.

I LOVE hentai and all that...but i come on MWS for normal pictures, so you silly pervs need to post it somewhere else

well that brings us to the point of this thread. why is desty work classified as tasteful and mine isnt? both me and him have posted pictures containing female nudity, the only difference is that he chooses to draw in pubic hair where as i dont. so is pubic hair the def of tasteful? at least to me thats a pretty crappy place to draw the line.

dustin, hell no, you can have full frontal nudity and not be pornographic in any way:

By my education, mild nudity means no nips (on women) and no crotch region(both sexes). Full nudity means nothing is hidden.

Por or not porn? Well that depends on the pose entirely

Okay, this is what I posted on Rabid Panda's picture http://mangaworkshop.net/show.pl?imageid=22054
And this is what I posted on that picture.

C'mon guys, this is worse than DeviantArt! As for the genitalia being directly shown and not covered with pubes, that's kinda strange. Because in some societies pubic hair is just as perverse as seeing the actual genitalia. For instance; in Japan the penis, vagina, and pubic hair must be tiled out. In ANY media, porn or otherwise. So if you're going to make the argument that simply covering genitalia with pubic hair is acceptable, when it is technically still in plain view, then you must clearly define that in the rules. Or outlaw the showing of that region in it's entirity. And what about nude male portraits? It is highly unlikely that this rule could apply to that.

Yeah. I say full frontal nudity is okay, we just have to draw the line between porn and artistic nude. Which isn't hard to do, it'll just be a pain to enforce among people trying to find loopholes.

Mild nudity, i thought meant, "a little nudity". Much like Mild salsa means, "a little spicy". In my opinion, that means tits and asses but not genital regions. Am i against full nudity? hell no, but mild nudity, last time i checked, isn't FULL nudity.

The way it's presented has NOTHING to do with it's rating. A gaping vaginal orgy is as much considered full nudity as an "artistically drawn" anime woman wearing absolutly nothing. Implying the body in a sexual way or not still doesn't make the difference between "mild" and "full" nudity. This just allows a way for loop-holes and playing favorites

Here's an example of full nudity. http://mangaworkshop.net/show.pl?imageid=18591
Which I would consider hentai, and last time i checked, wasn't allowed on this site.

As for putting pubic hair to make it not full nudity, that's bull. If you say that's what makes the line, than furries wouldn't be full nudity. By the way TRS, those are really nice sketches, how long were the poses for? 10 or 20 minutes?

Mild nudity? I think that's boobs and buts excluding (like Zephio said) genital organs. Full nudity gives the full package, so that includes genitals.

But both can be drawn in an "artistic way", wich means non sexual. Just like the pic from Desty (wich is great by the way ^_^)
His image will be full nudity, but still I would call it mild nudity.

I think we should avoid (as in should never) posting real hardcore or hentai pics on MWN. Desty's pick will not fall under that denominator.
With hentai images I mean pics showing big bones and characters serving themselves. In other words, the stuff you need to be 18+ for.

Damn, it's hard to make clear what should be permitted and what not. -_-'

[...]

Now having read back all the previous posts I think TRS has said it all:

By my education, mild nudity means no nips (on women) and no crotch region(both sexes). Full nudity means nothing is hidden.
Por or not porn? Well that depends on the pose entirely

I think the line is just in between mild and full nudity, in wich the pose is decisive. If it tends to go to the p0rn it shouldn't be posted. If it's just a pose, why not? ^_~

I think that most of you guys already have posted what I think about mild nudity.
As far as I have read I think that The Raging Spaniard has the best explanation,
and the pictures he posted shows that in a good way too.
For art like manga I think that you can use books as Fushigi Yuugi as a example,
at least that kind of nude art is the one I think about in the question of mild nudity.
