Valentines Day: Mangaworkshop needs new ECards!

Post by FirstBorn » Tue Jan 10, 2006 3:42 pm

I've just installed a new and improved ECard system. The first "event" to come is Valentines Day and we need new cards. I've copied the old ones in the system for new, but new cards would be greatly appriciated. ^^

Will you help me make new ECards?

The ECard has to be:
* maximum 500 pixels in height
* maximum 500 pixels in width
* gif or jpg
* can be animated gif
* can NOT be flash
* try to keep it under 200 Kb
* must contain the text "http://mangaworkshop.net/ (any size as long as one can read it)
* must contain the logo (any size as long as one can see it)
* must contain your name or nickname or sig or whatever (any size as long as one can read/see it)

To look at a sneak preview of the system, go here.

If you have any questions, please ask. ^^

Is soft-core ecchi allowed? Just i tend to draw that on any cards i send people (birthday, christmas...pretty much anything). And would they need to be colored? (im not a fan of digital coloring at all, i have really shitty programs and really little time)

but this sounds amazing. I'll send some in when i get free-time

No it's not that, I just forgot to reply ^_^' I did put a post-it on my wall though.
When is valentines day again? (Haven't got a gf at the moment so I forget this stuff) It's the 14th of february right? That'll leave me enough time to finish one. If I send it in a week before valentines day, will that be on time?

Yes. ^_^

Yes, but it doesn't need to be awesome. Just not black and white. If you change the blacklines with blue lines and the white background with a lighter blue, I'm happy! Just not black and white. ^^

Yes, the 14th of Februari. Thanks for helping me out, Harm! ^^

you could always ask someone to color it for you. I'm sure there are plenty of people around here that would do that. As for the work itself (coloring), it doesn't have to be digitally though, you could always scan the finished work and then send it in.
Agreed! A lot of people here love coloring but hate the drawing. Just ask around in the "Art in progress" baord when you're finished. ^^
