watashi hamou tatakau tsumori-hanai .

can someone give me some confidence in the legitimacy of these lyrics?
i don't know what they say, but someone wrote them for me. i just want to know if it says what he said it says.

Awful. Whoever wrote that, don't accept help from them anymore. I'm having a very hard time understanding what that's supposed to say. If you want to know what it says, I'll try to give you a rough translation:
In English, here's what I think they wrote:Hello. This is a bad day.
The day is.... *Didn't understand*
Love love love
Love love love

I don't plan to fight anymore.
I don't get it.

they're not for me .__.
he's writing them for my band to use in a song, because none of us speak Japanese

it was supposed to say:

Hello. This is a bad day. [that we live in]
The day is growing old
Love love love
Love love love

I don't plan to fight anymore.

Why do you guys want to try to sing a song that isn't even in your dialect? Do you realise how disjointed and wrong it will sound to those who can speak Japanese fluently?
I would strongly suggest not singing in Japanese. Especially if you don't even know how to write it yourself.

i can't speak japanese myself, but, being a vocaloid user, i've studied the sounds and how various things are pronounced. it shouldn't be too bad

Even if the pronunciations are correct, if the lyrics don't make sense then people will not be able to understand what's being sung. Seriously, I had a hard time trying to figure out the meaning to those lyrics.
