Anime I would say... Japan. Animation... France.

But USA brought over comics to japan after WW2 and all the japanese artists went "OH SHIZZLE this shi#s crunk!!!" then combined there art with comic art.

japanese art + western comic art = manga
manga + animation = anime

SOOOO Yanks did help anime and manga ;]

Didn't say they didn't play a part in it. Just saying it didn't originate from the US. :)

In a way, that's the Amarican way: Fucking things up.
Shouldn't have said that, now the FBI is reading this aswell XD

Somehow it's always clear to see if an anime or manga is Japanese or not. It always has that "certain" touch to it.

sigh...Disney. thats where the BIG anime eye originated from, and anthropomorphization.
animation, yes france. but "anime" style was inspired by disney.
its just today with censorship and dubbing that fuck it up.

now that i think about it rabid, why even bring up "the americans have a habit of fuckin anime up", when this was about a japanese manga with a disney theme to it?
and whats wrong with america adopting a new style to art? for a long time there was certain style that america exceled at, but now we are just getting into the anime scene with our own stuff, so its still not perfect like the japanese yet.

and its not fair to say that only america fucks up anime. even the pioneers did it.
and the dutchies too. :P
"SOOOO Yanks did help anime and manga ;]"
no one likes a kiss-ass england. (well....actually america does, so continue.)

Ulysses 31... everything that France fucks up is ok because they made that show.

And I mean... Dutch... Alfred J. Kwak. Top that. :P

On last thing though... anthropomorphization originating from disney.... ><

anthro is ok as long as you see it as a style and not a fetish.

and Megas XLR is an american "anime" and it is the best show on UK toonami. So america SOMETIMES makes good shows with anime influnces

And it's not like they have a don't publish crap policy in Japan. It's just that we don't know about that crap as much as American/European publications.
