I've been watching anime since the first time I laid my eyes on a tivo since Animes are really popular in my country.. I couldn't even remember what was the first Anime that I loved but it definitely was those Heidi type of Animes--the ones set in the west with Victorian style stuff.. It was during Sailormoon I think when I was already aware of my surroundings and actually could distinguish an Anime from a cartoon.. It was the Anime that I got addicted to the most.. XD It was the 90's and I was a young, naive girl so it was natural XD Then the rest flooded in.. Dragonball, Fushigi Yuugi, Slam Dunk, Ghost Fighter, Ranma

Cowboy Bebop is the best show I've seen so far.

In terms of technical skill, action, and story telling

Black Lagoon is also well done.

Gundam is good

Well, Gundam UC mostly. Anything that isn't SD, G, or Seed is probably good.

(Really looking forward to Gundam Unicorn)

Digimon
Yu-gi-oh
and now Kingdom Hearts

No Dragon Ball what so ever, can't stand it. Won't even sit for the first minute of it.

For me I grew up with Digimon when I was five or six.

From there I discovered Yu-gi-oh at I think nine or ten if not older.

Now as an older teenager I found Kingdom Hearts and fell in love with it. It wasn't until about six or seven years ago did I get serious about anime. Now days and even as a kid I found no fascination or held any interest for cartoons.
It's anime or nothing for me. They seem so much cleaner and not so dumb as the american cartoons.

I can't tell if these posts are spam or not.
I'm keeping them because the anime mentioned are honestly not bad at all. =D>

I can't personally stand DB.

The list of anime's that I have watched... is ridiculously long.

The ones that stand out as my favorites (serialized): Naruto, Kenichi, Angle Beats, Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, Fruits Basket, Ao no Exorcist, Strike the Blood (ongoing), Arpeggio of Blue Steel, and Mysterious Girlfriend X.

Anime Movies: Vampire Hunter D and Bloodlines.

Manga: Black Bird, Btooom!, Girl the Wild's, The Breaker and New Waves, and Noblesse.

I am a 33 year old man. And while I love good action, horror, and suspense... I have found that I seriously LOVE a good emotional storyline. Characters that pull on my heart strings keep me coming back and trying to find more characters that pull on the heart strings.
